Although not famous names they can offer low prices for
short stays. Some hotels charge an hourly rate as
in the example above for those spending less than a
whole day.
Historic buildings are mixed between modern high
rises in Wanchai. Here a traditional corner shop
building from the 1940's is maintained in almost
original condition.
Market shopping streets in Wanchai and nearby
Causeway Bay are where locals buy their daily needs.

Hotel which is a modern 4 star business hotel.
Buildings on the Wanchai waterfront overlook the
famed Victoria Harbour, which is crossed by the iconic
Star ferry.
The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre is
one of the worlds' major event facilities and regularly
holds world-class exhibitions and trade conventions.
Situated overlooking the harbour it was the site of the
handover ceremony in 1997 when Hong Kong became a
Special Administration Region or "SAR" of China.
Wanchai is served by excellent public transport
including the renowned Mass Transit Railway or "MTR".

know you have arrived in Wanchai.
Blessed with blue skyes and clear weather for the
majority of the year Wanchai attracts visitors and
tourists from all over the world.
Small and large shopping arcades and malls are
situated in the district selling everything from high
end fashion, to funky boutiques, to discount electronics
and computer accessories.
